So, here it goes. Part I

Israel was the forebearer in getting most of her population vaccinated and Hip Hip Hurrah to us all. We took care of the ‘virus pandemic’ and has just about started getting back to ‘normal’ life. Shopping, studying, working, playing, enjoying, living. And then the pandemic that doesn’t seem to leave us, strikes. Again. Nothing appeases them. Everything incites them.

And no, don’t get me wrong. Im not talking about the Arabs (Palestinians, as you call them. Let’s get our facts right, shall we? This region was known as Palestine, so people from this region are all Palestinians. Just like Asians, Europeans, Africans). I’m talking about the terrorist group Hamas. And terrorists being terrorists, they do not care about anyone or anything. Their minds are politically crude, and they are the epitome of evil. They will do just about anything to get their way and you better not be in their path. What you see is created by 1% of the population. Less, if not more. They thrive on their evil souls.

What agitates me is that this minuscule of a monstrosity takes credence. Though they seem to be in thousands, they do not represent us. We are all disgusted by their thoughts and actions. We the ‘normal’ people, have been living and loving (too), working and eating and playing and enjoying together. We are happy and content with each other. At the end of the day, when the cows come home, we just want to be with our family safe and happy.

But, then evil intentions were acted upon and a plot to destroy everything, took focal point. Ramadan, the holiest month for the Muslims, was desecrated with their unholy intentions and acts & could not be silently revered. Eid could not be boisterously enjoyed. ‘Shavuot’, a Jewish festival has now been bloodied. Fear has become the forebearer for everything, again. Why? Politics? Power?

Want to know what was their excuse, this time around. Read this insightful post The truth about Sheikh Jarrah

I am beyond infuriated, frustrated, sad & scared too.

For all my friends and family who have been continuously enquiring of our ‘position’, ‘fortunately’ we are nestled between the North and the Center of Israel, so we have not experienced the complete barrage of it all. Although, a couple of days back, the North and its peripehery were also under the red alert & 7 rockets from Lebanon (to our North), were fired and ‘luckily’ did not do any harm.

Our village has many Arabs neighbours and we did experience arson, vandalism, stone throwing, etc. It isnt easy being in the midst of this and we can only imagine the chaos in the center and south of the country.

There has been a barrage of more than 3000 rockets. Yes, you heard it right. 3000 freaking bombs been sent from Gaza to Israel. Why? Who cares why? How dare they? This is the Hamas, a terrorist organisation, inciting all this vile drama. And, if they had the guts they would do it, without holding innocent civilians lives at deaths gate. Muslims, Christians, Jews, everyone is included in this circle of fire.

And then, if this is not enough (it never will be), the whole world stands up against Israel. Why? Coz we wish to defend our country and our people. What would your country do?

We are told we are not following the “rules of war”. What? Are you crazy? What rules? Rules in war? It’s like saying, there are rules in madness. What the heck is going on? Have these idiots lost the last miniscule of their thinking minds?

How can anyone blame us for this? What would you do, if someone tried to hurt you, your family? Would you keep quiet? We are being bombarded non-stop. In some areas, you have less than 30 seconds, yes 30 seconds, to get yourself, your kids, your family, your life in a bomb shelter in less than 3 seconds. Less than 30 seconds to understand the situation, collect your life & run to the shelter to hopefully save your life.

Dont you dare blame us for doing all we can for every citizen, yes, every citizen of Israel. Food, shelter, jobs, health, wealth. What more? They want us all to be killed. Finished. And then what? You think it will end if we give up everything? No. It wont. Coz their greed is beyond anything that can be comprehended.

They say we are killing innocent civilans? No, you dumb asses, do the math. When they send their bombs, they dont care from where they send it. Coz they are doing it from schools, hospitals, residential areas. Then they send it to wherever is possible, including Arab neighbourhoods here in Israel.

When Israel has to bomb these active bomb sites, they send messages, calls are made, pamplets are thrown from the skies, to inform civilians of the details of the incoming bombs. Then a small projectile is sent to give a last warning before the big one is launched. Do you beleive we want to do that? No we dont. But we have no choice.

Arabs do NOT like Hamas and are tired of their antics. But as it is everywhere, most times ‘Money Talks, Bullshit Walks’.

No, we are NOT going to take this. Enough is enough. Our kids are being sent in the mouth of evil to kill its head off. Do we wish to? No. Do we have a choice? No.

And you all sitting there cozily at home watching the media giving you one sided news, I DO NOT GIVE YOU A CHOICE OF TELLING ME WHAT IS RIGHT AND WHAT IS NOT. My country is burning, my people are dying, my life is not normal anymore. Go enjoy your life. DO NOT DARE complicate mine.

I stand with Israel. If you wish to stand with the terrorists, I know I DO NOT stand with you.

Shabbath shalom y’all.

Part II

The “excuse” for this part of their evil transgression was the neighbourhood Sheikh Jarrah. If I had to say something about this, I may not be taken seriously, coz I am not being fair.

So, here is a post by Bassem Eid, an Israeli Arab, a Palestinian human rights activist. Read it and be informed. Nothing to do with Sheikh Jarrah

I am sure this will shed light on the excuse they used to incite this violence and chaos.

What has all this havoc been doing to us here. Read about this in my blog The barrage of rockets & emotions

Let me begin todays post be telling you a story. A real one.

Kevin was maybe 5 years old. Jr. K.G. He was the youngest in his class. An adorable little bundle of joy & absolute cuteness. (Those of you who knew him then, will agree). So each day, before he went to school, I told him to study well, listen to the teacher, make friends, not get into fights, smile & yes, enjoy. Being a bunch of rambunctious kids, told him if in case someone said or did something wrong, to ask the teacher to intervene. Kevin did just that. Enjoyed, smiled & didn’t get into any trouble.

However, there came a day, Kevin told me that one of his ‘friends’ pushed him around. I asked him to talk to the teacher the next day & to NOT retaliate. Kevin did just that. As most of you know, that the teachers in India are usually overwhelmed by the numbers in the class and dismissed his plea to intervene. I told Kevin, that if it happens again to just move away from that situation. Don’t get hurt.

A couple of days later, Kevin came home with a scar very close to his right eye. I was beyond myself. It was the same ‘friend’ that almost took Kevins eye off, with a pencil. I went to the school the next day & asked Kevin to point out the ‘friend’ to me.

There he was. This little kid, tinier than Kevin, trotting feet, waving hands, saying hello to Kevin, with a wide smile. I smile. He comes over, smiles wider & says “Hello aunty”. I smile back, wickedly (poor kid must have not known whats coming) & gently take him close & with a stern look & no smile, ask him to never ever put his hands or anything else on my Kevin. EVER. And if he does, well. That’s it. He cowers, apologises to the 2 of us, promises to never do it again. I smile & ask them both to go to class. Done. Over. Never ever did that kid or any other (as far as I know) ever hurt my baby again.

Thankfully, this situation was diffused. Hereon, I told Kevin, that he must take care of himself. He must not let anyone hurt him. We, as parents, only want good for our kids. We want them to be safe and happy and successful. We ready to take on the worst for our kids, no questions asked. If someone tries to hurt my child, I will take offence & defend. Period.

So, I ask you something? Why should it be any different when its my country? My people? Why?
